Grace O'Malley: the O'Malley clan leader known as a pirate who foght the Royal English Navy & even her own family, also gaining the respect of then Queen Elizabeth!

Grace O'Malley (1530-1603) was a female Granuile who terrorized all who opposed her on the seas, including her own family. O'Mallet showed her dominance by sea as well as land. Sir Richard Bingham brought about executing nearly her entire family to attempt to capture her. Queen Elizabeth I wanted to meet this pirate clan woman who gave her Royal Navy heel, so she arranged to meet Grace. Grace shocked everyone there when she refused to bow to Queen Elizaberth, looking to her as an equal. The two ladies carried on conversation as if they were the best of friends. the Queen pardoned Grace and her family and ordered Bingham to England to face malfeasance and murder charges. He was later ordered to leave Grace die in peace. Both Grace and the Queen died in 1602, both at the age of 73.
