John Hunyadi: the Hungarian king of Wallachian descent who killed Vlad the Impaler's brother and father, only to train Vlad and associate with him versus the Ottoman Turks!

John Hunyadi (1407-August 11, 1456) lost both the first battle against the Ottoamn Turks, as well as the Battle of Varna. But in his final battle versus the Turks, under the Sultan Mehmed II, on July 14, 1456, Hunyadi destroyed the Turks. Hunyadi would later die from the plague. Sultan Mehmed II paid respect to Hunyadi by saying "Although he was my enemy, I feel grief over his death, because the world hasnever seen such a great man".
