Tigranes the Great: the ancient King of Armenia who battled the Romans in the battle of Tigranocerta!

Tigranes the Great (140-55 BC) tried to fight off the invasion of the Romans under the command of Lucullus at the Battle of Tigranocerta. This war was over the fact that Tigran was trying to protect his father-in-law, who retreated from the Romans. Tigran had around 150,000 warriors at his disposal, so he never knew where the Romans were coming from, which led to the downfall in Tigranocerta.
