Thutmose III (1481-1425 BC) was an expansionist active ruler of Egypt at that time. In 20 years, he led 16 raids. it was recorded that he captured 350 cities and conquered much of the Near East from the Euphrates to Nubia. Considered to be one of Egypt's greatest warrior Pharoahs, Thutmose III transformed Egypt into an international superpower, conquering all territory from Syria through Canaan and Nubia. His main strategy was to subdue a much weaker city or state one at a time resulting in surrender each fraction until complete dominance was achieved.
